On Buy The Time, one UTC minute can hold one public record. Families use it to remember a person: the minute they were born, the minute of a wedding, or a moment only the family knows about.
The record carries their name, a photo and a few lines you write. It stays at a permanent address that anyone in the family can open and share.
Choosing the minute
- The minute they were born, if you know it.
- A moment from their life: a wedding, a first day, a phone call you remember.
- We do not recommend the time of death unless the family wants it. Many people prefer to remember a moment of life.
Writing the message
Keep it short. A sentence about who they were and what they meant is enough. You can edit the record later if you want to add something.
For the family
Send the link to relatives, or print the certificate for a memorial or a card. Each record has exactly one owner, so you can decide together whose name it carries.
